As someone who works in the orthodontic field and has grown passionate about the impact of dental health marketing, I was immediately drawn to the mission of The Happy Teeth Project. I’ve seen firsthand how a confident smile can transform lives, and the idea of supporting children in my local community aligns perfectly with both my personal values and professional interests.

Being local to the Lake Orion community, I love the idea of giving back in a way that directly supports families nearby. Joining The Happy Teeth Project feels like a meaningful extension of the work I already love—using my skills to help bring healthy, happy smiles to even more faces.

I joined The Happy Teeth Project because every child deserves to smile with confidence. I’ve known George Cherrick and his family for years, and I’ve seen firsthand their deep commitment to helping others. This mission—providing orthodontic care to kids who wouldn’t otherwise have access—is one I care about deeply. I’m proud to support a project that uplifts local families and invests in the health and self-esteem of the children in our community.

I could go on about why I started The Happy Teeth Project, but at its core, it comes down to one simple desire: to create and participate in meaningful change. Through this work, I have the privilege of helping restore confidence in young people and investing in their future.

This platform has allowed me to connect with others who share that same passion for impact — people who believe that transformation is possible when we show up with purpose. My hope is that The Happy Teeth Project grows into something scalable, reaching families and communities far beyond our current footprint.

Ultimately, I want this work to be something that someone, somewhere, can look back on as a turning point in their life. I want to leave the world a little better than I found it — and I believe this project gives me that opportunity.

The Happy Teeth Project holds a special place in my heart because I’ve witnessed the real, lasting impact it has on the lives of the young people we serve. There are so many incredible nonprofits doing good work, but being part of something so transformative has truly been a blessing.

What I love most is that The Happy Teeth Project has become part of our family’s identity. My hope is that it will one day become a cause passed down through generations — something our children can feel proud of, too.

I’m grateful to support my husband in this mission, and — fun fact — if it ever comes up as a Jeopardy! question, I’m the one who came up with the name.
